Antique French Bombay Dresser Secretary Desk
Antique french secretary desk from the late 1800s. Bombay design with bowed out sides and front. French original handmade brass pulls that screw in from the fronts. Burl veneer with floral inlay design surrounded by rosewood veneer. Beautiful floral carved top and front frame.
We added a wood top, stripped, sanded, and bleached the entire dresser. Stained in american walnut then top coated in a semi gloss sealer. Hardware was polished and sealed in a satin seal.
Inside top drawer has a pull out desk with shelves and drawers. The desk area and bottom two drawers were oiled with furniture salve.
